Lines 31200 and 45000: Employment insurance premiums through employment and Employment insurance overpayment

The amount on line 31200 is how much you paid in employment insurance premiums. The contributions were deducted from your pay cheque at the source and are reported in box 18 of your T4 slips.

An amount on line 45000 is the amount of employment insurance premiums you overpayed, if applicable.

To review and confirm your source amounts:

Select X in the upper-right corner to close the Help window.
In the upper-right corner of your screen, select Find.
In the Find window, type T-Slips.
Select T-Slips from the list, and select Go.
