You'll have an amount on line 32400 when a student who didn't need their current year
tuition, education, and textbook amounts to reduce their tax payable to zero transferred
their unused amount to you.
To review and confirm the source amount of you tuition, education,
and textbook amounts transferred from a child on line 32400:
- Select X in the upper-right corner to close the Help window.
- In the upper-right corner of your screen, select Find.
- In the Find window, type Tuition amount transfer.
- Select Tuition amount transfer from the list, and select
Go.
- Select the dependant who is transferring an amount to you and and
select Enter Credit Info.
