TurboTax 20 is designed for seasonal and part-time tax preparers who
prepare multiple tax returns beyond their immediate family circle. It allows preparation
of 20 returns with income over $25,000.
Note: The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has limited all
NETFILE-certified tax preparation software products in Canada to a maximum of 20 returns
filed
per computer. The new CRA limit applies to returns filed on paper or
electronically (using NETFILE). The limit of 20 returns includes all returns filed
regardless of income level.
If you purchased TurboTax Standard, Premier, or Home & Business, and you need to
prepare more than 4812
returns, you can purchase TurboTax 20 from the Intuit Canada Online Store. Remember that you can only file 20
returns in total.
Filing Electronically
Filing Electronically
You cannot use NETFILE to file a tax return for another person. The Canada Revenue
Agency requires that the NETFILE service be used to file only your own tax
return. To file a return for somebody else using NETFILE, you must have that
person personally submit their return using the NETFILE service.
To submit a tax return file on someone else's behalf, you can file the return by mail
or use an EFILE compatible product such as ProFile Basic. For information about
ProFile Basic, visit Intuit Accountants.
