Entering Québec other income

  1. Enter your federal slips first, then your Québec slips through the T-Slip and receipts entry screen.

    Using the T-slips entry screen.

  2. Enter any of the following in the PPROVINCIAL section of the interview, on the Other Québec Income screen:
    • Disability supports deductions needed to earn a research grant (if this amount hasn't already been deducted from the income)
    • If you received an RL-11 slip, and, at the end of your taxation year, the balance of the cumulative expenses referred to in box A, B or D is negative, you must report the amount as income. Enter the amount as a positive value.
    • Any other income that you haven't entered elsewhere.
  3. Review the Other Income - line 154 section of the Québec Other income worksheet (form QINC). Make sure all the lines that apply to you are complete.

    To find this form, use Form Lookup and enter the keyword QINC.

    To find this, go to the Other Income screen in the Income section of the interview and click QINC.

    1. If you can claim disability supports deductions needed to earn a research grant, enter the amount directly on the worksheet. Only enter this amount if it hasn't already been deducted from the income.
    2. If you received an RL-11 slip and, at the end of your taxation year, the balance of the cumulative expenses referred to in box A, B or D is negative, you must report the amount as income. Enter the amount on the worksheet as a positive value.
    3. If you have other income not included elsewhere on your Québec return, enter it on the worksheet.
