How do I enter contributions made between January 1 and March 1 of 2023

How do I enter contributions made between January 1 and March 1 of 2023?

Technically, you should have reported these amounts on last year's tax return. You need to file an adjusted return for 2022 to report these amounts in the correct year.

If you prefer not to file an adjusted return, you can include those amounts now with your March 2 to December 31, 2023 contributions. However, retain all your receipts; the CRA may request proof that you did not claim these contributions twice. Note that the CRA might still require you to file an adjusted return to claim the contributions on the correct year's return.
